What is going to Happen To Newspapers

Am I the one person concered about the future of newspapers? Many newspapers have folded recently as a result of lack of advertising and readership. I don't need to look farther than my personal family to determine this trend. None of my three children enroll in a newspaper. The obtain their news from television. The applies to their friends who either utilize TV or mobile phone devices or other electronics to get the news.
The first place to discover the health on the print information mill their funding. Papers get nearly all of their money from advertisers. Since 2003 the number of dollars received from advertising continues to be cut by 50 percent. On the other hand, the bucks spent on on-line ads has tripled. So funding for newspapers is rapidly drying up.
A few years ago, I supplemented my retirement income by selling newspaper subscriptions to shoppers to get. The most common objection I heard was "I get my news on TV". This is sad because television news can just spend a second or so on each story. TV prefer to spend a minimum of 10% of your news show on giving us weather. The worst part about it is that for everyone their scientific explanations of what is going to proceed and why, they can be frequently wrong.
I just desire to start manufactured reading a nearby paper. My morning is just not complete without coffee as well lottery number va. today as the newspaper. I read it from cab to tailgate. I love the appearance of it during my hands (the same applies to books versus gadgets).
Stories are covered thorough. I don't use a talking head telling me such a TV station thinks is very important. The newspaper gives me the entire story. I can decide what is significant and what is just not. Guess what else the newspaper has? No interference from commercials. The ads exist for me to read or you cannot read. And, because this is election season, I don't possess a lying politician giving me misinformation every 10 mins.
In addition to reporters, newspapers have columnists. These writers provide us with food for thought, covering ideas and events in a very unique way.
What it all amounts to is talking and listening versus writing and reading. It takes more talent to publish than it does to talk. And more thought has got to go into the written word.
It is sad for me to view the handwriting within the wall. Newspapers will in the end disappear and turn into victims of technology. I hope I am wrong relating to this, nevertheless the trend is ending newsprint. I just hope this doesn't happen happen during my lifetime.
